Our Mission
To promote research, education, social justice, and the arts and to improve the human condition.
The Albert and Elaine Borchard Foundation was founded on a vision to promote charitable, educational, and scientific endeavors by making grants to organizations primarily in Los Angeles county. In addition to grants for the educational and research programs in the three Borchard Centers, the Foundation prioritizes six areas for funding.
The Albert and Elaine Borchard Foundation operates and supports its own research and education programs, including the Center on Law and Aging, and the Center on International Education, and the Center on Literary Arts.
